Cruise cabins are small and the walls and ceiling are steel. Everybody who has cruised before will tell you to bring magnet hooks. I had never cruised, so I believed them and bought three different sets.
This is the 10-pack I would buy again: strong enough for a wet swimsuit, a lanyard, a hat, a bag, and the kids' stuff off the floor.

I didn't know how strong they needed to be, so I got a 30 lb set, this 50 lb set, and a couple of 80 lb heavy-duty ones. You don't need all three. If you only buy one, buy this one. The heavy ones are for a backpack or a bag of wet towels.
Ten covers a family. Put a couple of the strong ones by the door for lanyards so you grab them on the way out.
